I am looking foreward to Thanksgiving Break. I can't wait to sink my teeth into the juicy turkey and savor the green beans, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. My grandparents on my mom's side are coming into town town this weekend but I dont have a clue what we are going to do. My dad has two tickets to the MU vs. KU game and I might go with him. I can't wait to find out! Go Tigers!

Do you have any special traditions for Thanksgiving break? My family doesn't really have a tradition, but a most of the time we spend time with my mom's side of the family. This year everyone is coming over to my place. Then on Friday I'm going paintballing with my friend Clint. So what are you guys doing for Thanksgiving?

I'm pretty excited for this Thanksgiving break. On Wednesday we leave for Tennesse. My aunt and uncle live there. We went there last year and it was really fun. We usually shop, eat, and swim. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the drive. Its like 10 hours. I want to just stay up all night and sleep in the car on the way down. I just don't know if i can.

I am very excited about this Thanksgiving Break. One thing my family and I have decided to do was to go watch lighting of the Plaza Lights. I heard David Cook is supposed to be their live, to sing Christmas music. While we are down their I am planning to ask my mom if we can go Ice Skating. After that I plan to visit Santa Claus to sit on his lap and tell him my whole Christmas list of 1,342 different things I want/need for Christmas this year. Just Kidding! No but seriously. What do you guys want for Christmas?

I'm really bored today, so I guess I'll blog! Haha. I love Thanksgiving! My Mom's mashed potatoes are the best! In response to trebrit6, sitting on Santa's lap is the best! :) We're not going anywhere for Thanksgiving this year. Tonight (the day before Thanksgiving) we're going to the fireworks show, so that'll be cool. Hopefully it will be better than last year- it was really bad last year! What's the most random thing everybody wants for Christmas this year? My totally random thing is a tuberose reed diffuser for my room! :D Looking forward to your responses!

My Thanksgiving break is fantastic so far. On Wednesday I preformed at Christmas in the Sky. It was fairly warm that day, but once the sun set it was really cold. Today for Thanksgiving I went to my aunts new house for dinner. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday I'll be at the lake with my mom and her boyfriend. I think we're going to go bowling, but I'm not sure. I hope everyone's having a good time so far! :)

Well Thanksgiving was yesterday but it was aninteresting day. We have my moms side of the family come to my house which is usally abuot 60 but this was the off year so people went to the other side of their family but we still had 40 or so. And about nine on Thanksgiving all of Greenwoods power went out and we were cooking the turkey when it happened. So my mom and dad had to think of a back up plan so we took the turkey out and shoved it in the grill. And then me and my mom made the rest of the dishes and then when the power came back on at ten thirty we cooked everything in time for every on to eat at one. And after everyone left accept my cousins we played 'Scene It'. It was boys agains girls and the boys won! BOO! And Me and my older guy cousin Matt traded houses. I went to my cousins house to spend the night and he stayed at my house with my brother. On the way to my cousins house we went to go see the plaza lights. That was my crazy Thanksgiving! Hope you guys had a good one.

For Thanksgiving break I plan to have all the family over my house so we can dance and eat of course. Last year we did the same thing so I think everyone is going to come over our house just about every year. I like it like that but the only thing I don't like about it is that I have to clean up the house before everyone comes over.

So far my Thanksgiving break has been wonderful. For the first few days of break, I hungout with some friends. On Thanksgiving I my family and I ate down by the plaza and then stayed to watch all of the colorfull lights turn on. It was very pretty. On Friday we left early for Nebraska. My brother, dad, grandpa and I attended the football game later that day. The Huskers won. After the game my whole family went to eat. I had a blast. :)

I've had a pretty fabulous Thanksgiving break so far. My grandparents came over to my house to visit all week. I went over to my aunts house on Thanksgiving to eat. On Friday I went shopping and then Gabby spent the night at my house. Then on Saturday I spent the night at Gabby's house and then we are going to church on Sunday. How has your guys' Thanksgiving been?

My Thanksgiving Day started with me waking up a 8:30 am. Then not eatting breakfest so I could eat enormous amount of turkey. Subsequently I had to wash my deck before my grandparents came in from Iowa. The water I was washing the deck with was warmer then the air. Then my sister and I play ping pong for about an hour. Finally, my grandparents show up and my dad starts to deep fry our turkey. Meanwhile, my grandpa, uncle, sister, and I play another game of ping pong. Sadly I lose to them but hey they been around a litte longer. So they are a lot better than I am. After a great day of work my family and I get to eat the delicious turkey.

My Thanksgiving break has been very boring. the day before Thanksgiving my family and I went to see Christmas in the Sky, like we do every year, and I read all the chapters of the social studdies book we had to read. So far it is an incredibly boring book. On Thanksgiving the power went out for about two hours. It's a good thing my mom only had to cook a pie. We all went to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving dinner and stayed there for about four hours before driving to my other aunts house for a while. We got home at about ten and I watched TV until going to bed at about one. On Friday and Saterday I read the Book Theif which has turned out to be a very good book, alot better than House of the Scorpian. Also on Friday me and two of my friends made a weird video for our youtube account but we couldnt upload it because we couldn't find the cord we needed. :-( Now I'm sitting here listening to some music but later on today me, my mom and my friend might go see the Twilight movie again. (this will be the third time I've seen it!) And that was my Thanksgiving break.

I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving break. On Thanksgviving i ate more than i had room for but my taste buds kept asking for more. All in all, the food was great. Besides turkey, we had ham, mac n cheese, dressing, dirty rice, greens, and more. In response to albro6, on Thanksgiving we always have sweet potato pie and chocolate trifle. I cant wait until the next break (Winter Break), I'm going to see family!

This Thanksgiving break has been pretty uneventful for me. On Thanksgiving we had a big meal at my house like we have for the past few years. After we ate everyone laid around and watched a movie. Once everybody had left my mom, dad, older sister, little brother, and I went to Christmas in the Park. I really enjoy going to the see all of the fun lights, even if there is a long line. The remainder of my break included sleeping in, eating leftovers, and being bored. Overall, my break was okay.

I had a very fun Thanksgiving Break. My family and i went to Ohio for the break. It was a 13 hour drive divided into two days. I used to live in Columbus so it was really interesting and fun to be back there. While i was back i saw my best friends and a lot of my family. We has Thanksgiving at my cousins house. It was delicious. I spent the night with my friends and had so much fun. Then we went to the mall with our old neighbors and saw Twilight. It was a incredible movie. While up in Columbus I got to enjoy the things I love and miss so much like, Donato's and Tim Hortons. By Saturday i was ready to come home. So we drove to Connersville, Indiana and saw my Grandma. It was very nice to visit her. And finally I got back home today. It was a fun trip!

My break was really fun. I went to Tennesse and stayed at my aunt and uncles house. I really liked staying there. They have a pool but we didnt get a chance to go swimming in it. But we went to this rec-center place and i went swimming there. I also worked out, tanned and went to the spa. It was my first time i was in a tanning bed and i was freaking out! I was scared i was going to get trapped or something like that. Then i went shopping and got my dress for the winter dance. I'm so excited! My Thanksgiving break was really fun.

On Thanksgiving Day, I went to a Family Reunion on my dad's side of the family in Oklahoma. Then I played Halo 3 on X-Box live for a while. On Friday I went repelling off a 20ft bridge at our family cabin. That afternoon I went to another family reunion where we played Trivia Pursuit and ate the leftovers from the previous day. On Saturday, I shot some of my uncle's rifles behind his house. Saturday night I went to my friend's lake house to celebrate my mom's birthday. That sums up my Thanksgiving vacation. I had a great trip!

I wrote a little something :D

[ri grét]
The voices in my head never stop to breathe.
And my mind can never comprehend what it has seen.
Shapes lost in the darkness are never found--faces slip away without a sound.

A mist falls over my body; I think I’m in left field..
I see you
You are all alone.
you are standing so close. But, you never say a word.

You begin to walk away
Why did you have to leave so soon?
I had something to say,
but it would come out wrong.
you disappear into the darkness, and it soon consumes me.

Working up a cold sweat, still alone.
A ray of light dances from my windows.
a glimpse of hope in a world so dark, only to be taken away.

Sadly my amazingly fantastic thanksgiving break is over. No more speeding down a gravel road in a golf cart while my cousin holds on for dear life. All the pumpkin pie that I snarfed down with one of my favorite cousins is gone. I will miss my fun thanksgiving break. All my family around a table eating together (yeah right!). I'll miss the chaotic little kids running around my house with stains of unknown substances on their shirts. Maybe I'll even miss the loud conversations my crazy relatives have about politics; or maybe I won't (most likely I won't). No matter how much I'll miss it Thanksgiving is over, but hey Christmas is almost here.

Thanksgiving was fun because my birthday was on Sunday so the whole break i got birthday gifts. My actual Thanksgiving wasnt that great because my mom, step dad and little brother went down to Texas for the week so I didnt get to spend Thanksgiving with them. Although I didn't see my mom I did get to visit with my dad's side of the family. Over the break I also got to hang out with my friends. That was probably my favorite part of the break. All in all my Thanksgiving break was good.

I was sick ALL week and Thanksgiving for me was to drink some applejuice then go lay on the couch. Although not eating this Thansgiving, I don't eat much anyways. I'm a veggiterian and meat just doesn't apeale to me. Gosh I can't spell!

My Thanksgiving was awsome. As a tradition, all of my family got together to have our Thanksgiving dinner. Each year we kindof alternate where we go for Thanksgiving so all the pressure isn't only on one family. This year my house was the "Thanksgiving house" My grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all attended. When I think of all the food we ate, I have to say that the turkey, gravey, and mashed potatoes are my favorite part of the meal. I would say the sweet potatoes are my favorite, but I only like them because my mom makes them with marshmallows on top. I tend to just pick them off the top and eat only that of the sweet potatoes. All-in-all it was a wonderful Thanksgiving.

My Thanksgiving break was fun just not long enough. On Wednesday I just relaxed and helped a little bit in the kitchen to prepare for Thanksgiving on Thursday at my house. On Thursday my Grandma and Grandpa came over and we ate and had fun. On Saturday I went to my Cousin Marla's in Lake Ozark, MO and ate and talked to the whole family. We watched the border war and I think I was the only one who wanted KU to win. I had an exciting break and am looking forward to winter break.

For Thanksgiving, I went to my dad's house, who lives in Marshfield, MO. It's just a small country town outside Springfield. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, my mom says it's just from me being able to eat as much pumpkin pie as I want, but it's actually the time of year my whole family gets together. During Thanksgiving, I got to see a lot of family members that I havn't seen for a few years. Not to mention, it's the one time of year you can eat as much as you'd like, and not get called a fatty for it. :)

My Thanksgiving was awesome! We left Wednesday and headed North to Minnesota. We drove for like seven hours! It was terrible but the time spent up there was definitely worth the drive, though! I have family up there, including 3 cousins and my aunt and uncle. We had a huge turkey on Thanksgiving and on Friday we had my uncles DELICIOUS chinese food!!! On Saturday, my cuz who was visiting from Minneapolis (where she goes to college) took my sister and I to the movies to see Twilight, which, by the way, I LOVED!!! Afterward we went to the movies and the following day journeyed home on our seven hour tour of the fabulous state of Iowa (sarcasm)! In conclusion, my Thanksgiving break was wonderful!!! :-]

For my Thanksgiving break, I'm planning on having my friends come over for a day or two. Then I'll spend Thanksgiving at my aunt's house. There we'll have turkey, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and many other goodies. Like QueCo6, I can wait to eat. The rest of my week I'll probably sleep and hang out.
